hello all, my name is Kaden and i need a kidney

the short of it is due to a very rare toxic reaction i had to a prescription medication at the age of 19, both my kidney’s had unrecoverable damage done, reducing their function by over 80%. over the last few years, they have deteriorated to the point where they can no longer support my body.

the original plan was to have my younger sister, Shiloh, donate a kidney to save my life, but unfortunately at the 11th hour, she was declined due to a incredibly rare genetic condition we both have that can affect kidney health in the long term.

i’m now back to square one to find a donor who is not genetically related to me. my kidneys are currently on their way out, and i’ll start dialysis soon. dialysis will keep me alive for a period, but is not a long term solution. the best outcome possible for me is a living donor.
